The eponymous character. A 32-year old, highly-qualified, woman who dreams of being an author but is struggling to find her way in life.
Ethan Wakefield [Tyron Leitso]
Erica's friend from college. He moves in to the next-door apartment after separating from his wife, Claire.
Judith Winters [Vinessa Antoine]
Erica's best friend. She is married and pregnant.
Julianne Giacommelli [Reagan Pasternak]
Becomes Erica's boss at her new job.
Brent Kennedy [Morgan Kelly]
Becomes a work colleague and friend of Erica's.
Gary Strange [John Boylan]
Erica's father. A rabbi who is divorced from Erica's mother.
Barbara Strange [Kathleen Laskey]
Erica's mother. She lives alone after separating from Erica's father some years ago.
Samantha Strange [Joanna Douglas]
Erica's younger sister. A doctor who is engaged to be married to long-time boyfriend Josh.
Josh MacIntosh [Adam MacDonald]
Fiance of Erica's sister, Samantha. He and Erica struggle to get on.
Jenny Zalen [Paula Brancatti]
One of Erica's best friends. She enjoys living life to the full.
Katie Atkins [Sarah Gadon]
A former high school friend of Erica's. She has gone on to achieve great things in her career.
Leo Strange [Devon Bostick]
Erica's older brother. Died in a fire in 1996 when he was just 21.
Claire LeDuc [Laurence Leboeuf]
Ethan's wife. She and Erica attended college together.
Dr. Tom [Michael Riley]
Erica's mysterious therapist who sends her back in time to re-experience regrets she has.
